Beauty Product Review:
Beautycounter Skin Care Line.
| i Heart Marina
I have received Beautycounter products to try and I’m going to share my experience and thoughts on this beauty skin care line.
I usually prefer not to put tons of make up on my face just because I really, really don’t like to look like a “baked cake ” and this is my personal opinion for my face. I prefer the minimal make-up on with natural skin glow and in order to obtain a beautiful natural looking face with a minimal make-up it’s imperative to keep a good skin care hygiene starting with the right skin care products.
I am a skin care junkie, weather it’s to blame it my esthetician mother with over 40 years of experience or my love of having a healthy natural skin. I always google “home made masks” or “paraben-free or sulfate-free” facial creams and even shampoos believe it or not. That being said, I’m giving a try to the Beautycounter skin care products and sharing my thoughts below.
Some of the item that I have received in the mail include:
- BeautyCounter stick Sunscreen with SPF30 and water resistant
- BeautyCounter Lengthening Mascara
- BeautyCounter Countertime products include:
- Soothing Face Wash with Apricot Kernel Oil, Arctium Lappa Root Extract, and Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract.
- Radiance Firming Complex with mixed fruits acid complex, Marine extracts and boerhavia diffusa and ginger root extract.
- Uplifting Day Cream with spilanthes acmella flower extract, ginger root extract and Vitamin C.
- Restorative Night Cream with spilanthes, acmella flower extract and saffower oleosomes.
- Vibrant Eye Perfector with marine extracts.
- BeautyCounter Essentials products include:
- Routine Clean cream cleanser
- Gentle Exfoliator polishing cream
- Everyday AM hydrating cream
- Everyday PM hydrating cream
- Anytime eye cream
The Beautycounter facial creams cointain chemical-free ingredients and that is the reason why I gave this product a try. I have tried it twice so far and love it. However, I can’t say I see dramatic results immediately but that is simply because I have used the AM/PM hydrating creams only twice so far. I believe in order to notice the difference in your skin with any skin care beauty products, it takes about 6-8 weeks of using the product in order to notice the difference. However, after two-time of use of the hydrating creams I did notice my skin a bit glowing and it definitely felt hydrated.
The hydrating creams are light and it does not weigh down my face. The Beautycounter creams are also very condensed, which I love! This is another important factor when using creams. Slathering a heavy daily cream on the face can cause wrinkles. In order to avoid wrinkles, it’s important to gently apply creams on the face without rubbing your face. Just place a tiny amount onto your ring finger, and gently dab the cream around your face or under eyes
- BeautyCounter Charcoal Cleansing Bar
Beautycounter’s charcoal cleansing bar results were visible immediately, that i’ll admit. Every month during my period my face breakouts, especially around my chin area. washing my face with the Beautycounter charcoal bar my break-outs seemed less inflated and my face looked more smoother. What I like about the Beautycounter’s charcoal cleansing bar is its antioxidant-rich organic green tea ingredients with witch hazel. This helps to detoxify and balance the skin. Additionally, it has no parabens, sulfate, dyes or fragrances.
Here’s how to use the Beautycounter’s charcoal cleansing bar:
Lather in hands with warm water, apply it to your face then rinse it. My personal recommendation is twice a week.
