The Best Homemade Hair Mask For Damaged Hair.|

Damaged hair, brittle hair or dry hair, whether it’s to blame the dryers, products or even the weather there’s a cost effective way to repair your hair and it’s one of my personal favorite homemade hair masks — Coconut Oil Mask.

You can have shiny, lush, manageable and healthy hair again with coconut oil. Some of the benefits of coconut oil include anti-microbial properties, lauric acid, and medium-chain fatty acids that strengthens the hair, condition the scalp, and helps with the hair regrowth.
Five reasons why you should treat your hair with coconut oil mask.

  1. Coconut stimulates hair growth.
  2. Coconut oil treats dandruff.
  3. Coconut oil is one of the best natural hair moisturizers. It adds adds shine and softness.
  4. Coconut oil slows down hair loss.
  5. Coconut oil stops split ends and hair breakage.

Here’s the recipe to “Homemade Coconut Oil Repair Hair Mask.”

What you’ll need:

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp organic vinegar
  • 3 eggs

Four Easy Steps

Step 1: Mix the ingredients all together in a bowl. Optional: Heat the mixture up on a stove top if you have the time. When the hair mask is applied the heat helps with the hair follicles to open up.
Step 2: Apply the mask to either wet or dry hair, starting from the root down to the tips of the hair.
Step 3: Wear the plastic shower hat and let it sit for at least an hour, if not more.
Step 4: Wash the mask out in the shower with the warm water. For the final rinse, I recommend you use lukewarm water. This is because the warm water opens hair’s cuticles allowing the shampoo and conditioner to do their job and luke water helps to close the cuticle and seal in the moisture from the conditioner which helps your hair looking shiny and healthy.
